Northridge Middle School

Overview
One of our latest projects was completed for Northridge Middle School in Tuscaloosa, AL. This project featured a three different TVM products – sunshades, overhead supported canopies, and walkway covers. Sunshades were installed in multiple lengths on all sides of the building to block the sun and reduce energy costs for the school. The school’s entrance is highlighted with a student-drop off walkway cover using long-length welded trusses and 8″x8″ columns.
We also provided several overhead supported canopies using rod and clevis supports with pan and cap decking.
Northridge Middle School is a new, 134,000 square foot facility that will hold more than 900 students. WAR Construction was the project’s general contractor.
