Meadowbrook Baptist Church

Overview

Meadowbrook Baptist Church has a long and rich history, dating all the way back to 1951 when leaders from nearby Baptist Associations deemed it necessary to build a church in order to support the growing community within the area.

Construction of this complex has been decades in the making. It was of utmost importance within the community to ensure that the church was built debt-free without compromising on quality. According to Pastor Randy Gunter, the goal has always been to “not only build a space for worship that reflects the magnitude and glory of God, but to do so without any restrictions on Meadowbrook’s ability to serve its community and global mission partners.” Attention to detail has been a crucial aspect of this building’s design.

Tennessee Valley Metals is honored to have contributed to this project, fabricating an extruded aluminum canopy at one entrance and a triple-tier canopy at the other. Our triple-tier canopies have been crafted over a span of 1,300 square feet in order to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the site, while also providing a high degree of protection. These canopies have been customized to work with steel columns using a TVM designed 6 x 12” tube framing system as well. Keeping the unique design requirements of the project in mind, we chose a TVM extruded 6” flat-pan interlock system for the deck style, along with a 10” and 12” fascia profile.

Apart from these installations, we have also provided two flat overhead supported canopies and a post supported canopy at other areas of the building. Black Design Architecture was the commissioned architect for the project, and helped bring this project to life.

Meadowbrook Church had their building dedication on March 21st, 2021. It was a wild success, and we are elated to have been part of their story.
